The pressure is really on the people of Alabama. They can either write in the name of someone else, vote for the Democrat or vote for Moore and be know as people who put party over country, decency, who back back wood bible thumping, possible pedophile over normal person.
And since it's Alabama--the state that voted him back in after he was twice booted from the court for refusing to obey a Supreme Court order, and for instructing all the courts in the state to defy the law as well--they will send this lawless miscreant to the Senate. Because as long as he is waving his Bible, it doesn't matter to Alabama what else he does.
Alabama should be ashamed, but I doubt they are capable of that.

No one on either side of the aisle foresaw the possibility of the Virginia Assembly flipping from red to blue. That was a big surprise to everyone, Democrats and Republicans alike.
But everyone foresaw that backwards, Bible-thumping Alabama would elect a fundamentalist, gay-bashing lawbreaker like Moore. No surprise there.
