I understand that if you feel if you post something as fact that is up to others to verify it, so it doesn't surprise me that you view an accusation as proof.

If you were to take the time to actually read the story and not just assign your own facts, you'd see that it gives absolutely no explanation of the 30. For all we know, all 30 might have said Moore lived in that town verifying that he was in the area.

People chose to ignore those accusations when they voted for President Trump, and there are certainly Moore supporters who will also choose to ignore these women.

I think that that is beside the point for these women. The people (because there are young men saying "Me, too") coming out and telling their stories are doing so to unburden themselves. Not to affect political races but to effect social change. Our society needs to change. We need to respect each other. And that means people in power need to respect people who don't have power. The abuse needs to stop. In many ways, that's part of Trump's message, isn't it? Draining the swamp is about getting rid of the people who take advantage of the little guy, who abuse their power. Women and some men are telling their stories about how a man who had power over them took advantage of them. And letting the chips fall where they may.

Don’t be fooled by Roy Moore. Just because he waves the Bible around and waves a gun around to prove he is pro gun. Doesn’t mean he is fit for office. This man has problems. Why would the people of Alabama not see that? So they would rather have this POS in office than a Democrat? That speaks volumes about the voters in Alabama.

To be honest, it is more disturbing to me that there are multiple officials that are saying that even if it is true, that it is fine - and then justifying it with things like the "Mary and Joseph" line. Disgusting filth.

Honestly Pedro I'm disappointed in your response. I expected more from you.

If they can defend that, they can defend anything.

It doesn't really matter whether from an evangelical mindset or family values, they defend their guys because politics is a team sport. Check the mind at the door and hoist the banner.

If so, why?
I wouldn't have been opposed to a temporary ban on both. Most colleges could've offered them home study, and I know Duke could have at the time.

Would you feel differently if the accuser was right in that particular case?

Yup. That bothers me the most, too.

I mean, Mary and Joseph? Come on. People lived to be about 30 or 40 back then for the most part and a 14yo was considered to be of marrying age. Not the same thing at all.

Besides, if they really believe in the immaculate conception, Joseph wasn't technically having sex with her until they were legally married anyway.
