Excellent post. The arguments to the contrary are really insulting if you ask me. Its like blaming the Freedom Riders for "daring" to traverse the segregated south, knowing that their actions would bring about violent reactions from racist people and organizations like the KKK. Just like the Freedom Riders weren't to blame for the violent reactions from racist bigots, President Trump and freedom loving people throughout the world aren't to blame for the violent reactions from radical Islamist extremists and terrorists who are upset with the decision to recognize Israel. There comes a time to take a stand for what is right and to stop appeasing the violent and unreasonable/irrational among us.

A poster on another thread called it, aptly, "a petting zoo for multi-cults." I replied that I wouldn't want any of them licking my face.

Maybe we should have negotiated with Charles Manson, Stephen Paddock and Devin Patrick Kelley. We could have discovered their "inner child." At the very least we could have defused their violent anger.

Hatred of Israel is not because of the State of Israel
But it was caused by the texts of the Koran, which is the violent incitement against the Israelis
For this reason, Muslims everywhere agree on this because their texts are the ones that incite hatred against the Israeli people
When the Israelis were able to return to their country, hatred became encapsulated in human rights
Note that Islam does not recognize human rights but uses them to hate hate

Your name calling simply indicates that you don't have an argument. And frankly I'm surprised your personal attacks are allowed to stand.

How exactly isn't it in our country's interest to stand with Israel against threats from violent, radical Islamists who are intent on killing Jews and Americans no matter what we do? This was the right thing to do and is in our country's best interest.

I hope it will. The Palestinians will realize that the US will no longer continue to work with them and give them all of the benefit of the doubt like it as been doing, if they do not make some real effort in moving towards a permanent solution. The world has been very sympathetic towards the Palestinian's grievances, but that time is coming to an end because the Palestinians are refusing to work towards peace. This might force their hand.

You will never have peace in the middle East until both side want peace.

Israel wants only to be left alone, and for people to quit bombing them and shooting rockets at their villages.

The Palestinian govt, and several other middle Eastern governments, want the annihilation of Israel. And they keep training whatever fanatics they can find, to carry it out.

Peace is impossible, and will never happen, as long as they do.

It's kind of a shame, since most ordinary Palestinian people don't much care about Israel, and would just as soon leave them alone.

Hate for Jews did not start with Muslims in N. Africa & the Middle East as there was nearly none before WW1. There were nearly 1.5M in Muslim countries living and doing business as everyone else. But when Europeans entered the picture and brought their anti-semitism with them things changed for the worse (which included a negative affect for Arab Christians as a side effect). The Europeans, especially Britain, promised numerous things to Arabs creating Arabism. The Arabs were promised numerous items to numerous tribes even if it conflicted itself. The Jews were gone from those two regions by the early 1950's and the Christians are nearly gone now. Take a look at Iraq and Jordan. They were gifted to a person from Saudi Arabia and not the local population.
