Sounds like suppressing evidence. Evidence that the cop straight up murdered the guy. Evidence that the cop was acting like a power hungry a hole from the get go. Evidence that makes the cop look like he was itching to shoot someone.

He was waving an air rifle out of his 5th story window, which is why police were called. Not sure everyone could identify a rifle from that distance as anything other than a rifle. A drunk nut case gets shot and killed.

Sure it does, after that thug saw the guy's back a half dozen times and clearly there was nothing there. Even if he did reach for a gun there is no way in hell he's going to get that handgun pointing at the trained killer before the trained killer pulls the trigger half a dozen times.

If there's one gun at play, always assume that theres another. He could've had a pistol concealed.

You watched the evidence. The thug yelling the orders didn't even have the IQ to know that half the **** he was yelling was contradicting what he had barked out seconds before. Nobody could have followed those orders because they were confused by an overdose of adrenaline and sadism, and a lack of IQ points.
In that same situation, I would bet one in ten thousand cops would have committed that murder. Only those who do not belong in that position of power with firearm in hand. Those are the kind of hotheads with no judgement or self-control that need to go. The inscription on the AR of "your f'd" should have been a red flag long before the execution took place. Just what we need in our modern society... old west style gunslingers with modern high-powered semi-automatic weapons.

I was once given a ride by a VA state trooper when the radiator blew on the car leaving my baby and I stranded on the side of the interstate.
That kind of thing is not uncommon. A cop in Georgia gave me a ride when I blew a hose and my car overheated circa 1989.
Of course, in Virginia, the only interaction I ever had with a cop was after he pulled me for DWOOSP (driving with out-of-state plates). And it was in Charlottesville. I'm white, and he was black. One of only two bad experiences I've ever had with a cop. The other was in PA.

I've had a lot more bad experiences with cops than good experiences. My abusive forced husband had lots of cop buddies that got their kicks watching him beat me up and would help him track me down when I'd escape or tried to escape. He was and still is a government employee, except now he's federal and he was state back then.
He was in shorts and a t-shirt. the police had him up and down like a yo-yo. You telling me a heavy hand gun wouldn't have fallen out of his clothing?
Maybe it was taped to his body? So he would go for it while under the gun? The defence of the killer policeman is just astonishing.
By trying to obey their stupid instructions, he was murdered.
He could've had a pocket pistol in his back pocket. If someone is crawling toward you and all of a sudden put his hand behind his back in such a stressful situation that involves a gun to begin with then you're going to assume the worst.
