'What's the point of having a gun if it's not loaded?' Elderly homeowner shoots intruder to death | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

An 84-year-old Pennsylvania man turned out to be a challenge for burglars after he fought two intruders who broke into his house. The Korean War veteran, who sleeps with a loaded gun under his pillow, killed one of the attackers with a single shot.

The elderly man, who happened to be former champion weight-lifter, then engaged in a fight with the second intruder, who managed to escape.
Too bad he did not kill both of them.

I wonder if we'll get security footage of this one. Hopefully his story doesn't conflict with what the video shows or else the SJWs will cry over the dead perp.

Good for him.
Could be a record for an edit.

A man protecting his life doesn't have to "excuse" anything. And the homicides and accidental deaths reflect illegal and improper use of firearms, which was not the case here.

Only in the fevered swamps of the liberal mind is there a downside to self defense.
