Have you read the thread? I think we have determined that this is one of the most bipartisan issues out there.

Both Trump supporters and haters are for legal marijuana. However, of the 30% or so that are still for prohibition, it is true that most of them will be a conservative/Republican (and over 65).

I have never smoked pot in my life, but if the states voted for it, the feds should leave them alone.

That’s because “big pharma” is just another excuse made up by drug addicts to blame anyone other than themselves. I’m sure most people reading this have been on some type of pain medication in their life and stopped using it when they felt better. People who use illegal drugs and abuse prescription medication do so because they choose to do so.

Are you saying that Washington lobbyists who represent the major pharmaceutical companies don't exist?

While happily taking lots of federal assistance such as Disability when they could have had state marijuana tax revenue.

Marijuana and cannabis oil is proven to reduce or prevent or lessen cancer, my own dermatologist recommended I enroll in the oil program due to my history of skin cancer, so far I declined but.

Chemotherapy is a multi billion dollar industry, do you think those with interests in that want marijuana challenging it?

The Trump administration is doomed to die attempting to take this mountain. I don't personally use MJ and have no desire to do so, but it is big business in those states where it is legal. The president needs to call off his AG before this issue explodes. It's not in his best interests to push ahead.
