First they said the climate wasn't changing. Then they said that it changes on its own cyclically. Now the far right says that it's not changing because the weather is chilly this week.

What happened is we are still in an ice age. It began 2.58 million years ago. We are presently in an interglacial period, meaning the glaciers cover less of the earth than during a glacial period. This interglacial period (meaning it warmed up) began about 10,000 years ago. Humans were not producing carbon dioxide in significant quantities then.

About 370,000 years ago, Mars was in an ice age. To my knowledge, humans weren't producing CO2 there and then either.

When I walk outside, the land is flat. Therefore, the Earth must be flat.

We are talking about temperature increases of a few degrees in 100 years, that is rapid. The last time we had CO2 levels man did not exist like you indicated so I guess your argument is that since man didn't exist that CO2 occurs naturally, from where?

Climate changes in the past have over millions of years for the most part not one century.

Crazy weather patterns. I was mowing my lawn in December. That alone is unique. Now I worry about frozen pipes. Next week 50+. Climate change seems to be happening with some weather events becoming stronger.

Three major hurricanes in one season. When was the last time that happened?

For a mind boggling experience, watch Trump's nominee for the environmental quality council chair, Kathleen Hartnett White, answer questions from Senators Ben Cardin and Sheldon Whitehouse on green house emissions and climate science.

Astounding how incompetent and ill-informed she is.
