You have no idea what you're talking about. Trump is Putin's lackey, and hasn't uttered a negative word about him, ever.

There is NOTHING Trump is doing that is in opposition to Russia. He's a stooge, getting played.

i think jailing and killing people for having different opinions of him kind of makes him a bad guy....didn't realize he liked child porn too -- yeah -- he's a creep.

We are actually NET IMPORTERS of uranium from Russia. Our Uranium just isn't that good. The whole story is a 'trumped up' bogus hoax perpetrated on the people who trust the fake news generators the most: right wing Trumplodytes and Tea Partyers.

It's rube rhetoric for the low information sheeple crowd who are either too lazy to Google Uranium One or they believe what they want to believe with this cult like attraction. Uranium One was a Canadian company with a 20% stake in American uranium. The Russian state owned company Rosatom purchased the Canadian company and wanted to buy our stake as well. Many committees oversaw the purchase. To say that Clinton gave our uranium to Russia is not only fake news, but it's fake news in the most insidious way. It's right out of Putin's playbook. It's called chaffing. It's used to distract and throw up smoke. I see a pattern between his tweets and negative news from the "fake media" when they get too close to Trump's comfort zone. He tweeting something negative about NATO and his staff has to contradict him. The confusion helps to muddy the waters. Whatever happened to the Obama administration wire tapping Trump tower? Remember the Susan Rice unmasking controversy? Maybe not? That's because Trump banks on people having short memories. How about the Steele dossier is the real Russian scandal? Now we have the Nunes memo. Lies, deflection and smoke. Russia is using this technique in America with it's troll farms and bots. They failed in France to elect their pro Putin candidate Marine LePen. Kudos to the French people for being smarter then the American's.

Control the media. Putin destroyed the free press. There's an interesting article in The Huffington Post called How Russia's President Controls The News." Keep an eye on Sinclair Broadcasting and The Tribune Media merger. It will be the largest TV conglomeration with 230 stations and reach 72% of households if the FCC regulation rollbacks under Trump succeed. Yet AT&T Time Warner merger is touted as bad. One is liberal leaning, one is conservative leaning. The Sinclair merger is now under federal review.

Fake news? Hardly. The free press is the only thing that separates us from a dictatorship. To attack it relentlessly is to promote the end of democracy. Conspiracy theories may be salacious until some nut job shows up at a pizza restaurant to save the children from the Clinton child sex ring. Yep, rubes fall for this crap.

Putin is neither our friend nor our enemy. He is our geopolitical adversary. His system of autocracy and kleptocracy does not fit into our democratic model. We do not fit into his autocratic model. So who's right and who's wrong? How do we want to live? Under a dictator or under a democracy?

You have to understand Putin's KGB roots to understand Putin. He's a master spy with a playbook, and like America, wants to spread his way across the world. He promotes dictatorships in the form of populism and we once promoted democracy across the world.

Putin basically runs a criminal enterprise as he controls all business in Russia via the oligarchs he controls, who pay tribute to him. It's estimated that his net worth is $200 billion, making him the richest person in the world.

Yeah, he's a bad guy. Try reading a little if you don't know about him.
It's hard to believe that you actually have to explain to conservatives that Putin is a bad guy.

Anyone on this thread interested in drinking a cup of Putin's Browder Tea?

Nope!

Agree with your whole post. Putin backed Trump because he recognized the makings of a dictator/authoritarian in him. THAT'S what Putin wants to spread - not democracy. And Trump follows the authoritarian playbook to a 'T" by constantly attacking the free press.

Obama said the 80's called and want their foreign policy back. Obama said nothing to worry about.

I recommend "A Very Expensive Poison" bu Luke Harding. It will give you pretty good insight into how he operates. Vlad is not a nice boy, and he does not play well with others. If he does indeed have Trump on a string, Trump would do well to worry about his continued existence should anything go south.

He has had his political enemies killed. For that he is on the level of Kim in N. Korea. That is just one example of endless examples.

Yes he is a bad guy.
