We have heard your long list (three words): I hate Trump!

Simple: We're not Trump. A piece of dog poop would be 1000x better than the lying, criminal Russian stooge traitor in the WH.

Just run the hell away from that radioactive mess, and you should win (assuming you're in a district where the voters aren't stupid or racist).

That and based on their responses they're all for higher taxes, lower pay for the middle class, not bringing back jobs, illegals over citizens, a crashing vs booming economy, government corruption, disregard for the Constitution and everything not traditionally American.

All the Dems have to offer is redistribution.

And oh, by the way, get over it. He won.

That sounds exactly like the Trump platform. Trump raised taxes on most areas, lowered pay, is killing jobs, married an illegal, hires thousands of illegals, is crashing the economy, and is an anti-American Russian stooge.

No person who loves the U.S. will ever "get over" the fact we have a criminal Russian stooge in the WH.

Once he and his cronies are in prison, yeah, we'll relax. Until then, sorry. The Russian bots and KKK are going to have to work overtime to protect their savior.

I'd wager dimes to donuts that most Democrat campaigns will center on trying to hang Trump around their opponents' necks, and then scaring everyone to death that unless you send them to DC, Trump will crack the Earth in half and fling us all into the Sun.

That will be 70-90% of all the campaign rhetoric from Dems, if I was going to bet it.

Did you read the title of the thread? 2018. That's this year. That's the time many of the Senate and the house gets up for vote. As we've seen in the last year, the US populace isn't putting up with Trump, his stooges, and people like them. There have been a number of elections where long-sitting Republican leaders have been replaced with a Democratic leader.

The two top issues I'd like see addressed:

Single Payer Healthcare
Rebuilding our relationships with our allies that Trump has tarnished.

Oddly, the only thing it seems currently is they are going to run is a completely made-up lie about a relationship that never existed. President Trump has been absolutely vindicated on the politically made up Russia probe.

The Democrats aren't even talking about tax reform because workers are seeing much fatter paychecks already. Every time they try to talk about Trump's tax cuts they lose lots of votes by calling thousands of dollars a year extra for many middle-class as crumbs.

The Democrats really can't come up with anything because the middle-class love Trump's big tax cuts.

They can't mention health-care because Republicans are smart and are just going to let Obama's expensive health care tonic collapse in a year or two.

The only thing they can really propose at this time is expansion of the welfare state. That will be interesting as usually Democrats start proposing lots of welfare goodies a couple months before a general election.

I just wonder what they are proposing for 2018 other than Identity politics that segments Americans into micro-groups plus drives the country apart and the completely made-up Russia probe that President Trump has been vindicated and cleared of many, many times already.

They will stick with the "You're Racist, You're Sexist, You're Homophobic" campaign that has gotten them this far.

They might throw in "We're not as Corrupt as you think we are" slogan.
