The claim comes really from within Russia.

Again warning lots of girls working as "escorts". However, important thing is Manafort's employer the oligarch is partying next to a top Kremlin official and discussing politics. American politics according to the Telegraph.
I gather this claim came from the book published by the escort. She was right there listening and video taping these two men who are obviously talking about something.
" A caption said the two men were trying to “solve the issue with America”."

Manafort's key employer of late has been that Russian oligarch and not the former Ukraine president.
Manafort just cares where his next millions of dollars will come from.

That is why he was willing to work for Trump for free since he was going to get millions from Russia.
The video is absolute proof that Manafort's employer was in direct contact with the Kremlin. That guy sitting next to him on the yacht even holds the same job that Putin once held.
this is one of the avenues that mueller seems to be covering. i'm content to wait till the investigation ends to get a comprehensive picture of events.
Manafort was still with Trump campaign when Manafort's employer and this Kremlin official met on that yacht in early August 2016.
If they were talking American politics and employing Manafort for millions of dollars, I highly doubt they were discussing how to ensure Clinton is elected.
Get Adam Schiff on it right away. He can pick up those nude pictures of Trump while he's at it.
