Girls life was ended by a 19 year old man. He was the problem. The tool he used was a gun, not hard to understand unless you are emotionally brain washed to think/feel otherwise.

They are in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm not going to teach my kids to stand up and make themselves a "soft target" in the name of "defending" themselves. Uh uh.

The stats are there. I posted one last night. Approximately 15,000 lives are saved every year due to seatbelt laws. I would also attribute that stat to increased education on the efficacy of seat belt usage.

Empowering our children is the only way you will stop this violence.
And how do you propose to "empower" our children in some effective way, that will disarm an enraged assailant with a semi-automaticweapon?

Most criminals aren't organized and we know where they live. We also know where their friends and relatives live....

You are kidding me, right?

Dude, you and everyone else knows exactly what happened. If memory serves, much of "what happened" was actually televised live. In case you missed it, we have a nifty thing called the internet.

Educate yourself on "what happened."

Oh, that's right! At this point, it's just repeal!

The NRA started this mess and they've enriched the gun manufacturers along with certain politicians, at the tax payers expense.

Now that the genie is out of the bottle, how can we ever recover from this quagmire of a mess?

Obviously, the GOP is going to do nothing! Last time I checked, only President Obama, Hillary, Biden, and the Democrats were the only ones talking about gun control and tweeking the ACA.

obama promised to cover all Americans, what happened.

Define handling finances. What about handling meds?
See, if an old man has a safe full of guns, are you saying we should go in a confiscate them, because his wife does the bills because he is laid up with cancer, or dementia?
Those rifles/guns are private property, and will be willed down to his family when he passes.
Now, purchasing a new one, probably not a good idea, I agree.
But people want to focus on non issues with the shooting at hand.
The problem was a Man, 19 years old, decided he was going to go kill some people. He chose a rifle. He could have chose a bat, or a pipe bomb. But no, he chose a rifle. So all you can do is focus on is getting rid of people buying guns because they aren't mentally capable. If that is the case, then almost every person on Zoloft, for example, should be banned from purchasing a rifle, knife, driving a vehicle ( cant think straight, cleary on mind altering drug so take the bus or Uber) or anything that can be used to make a weapon..
But, No, the left goes after one rifle, AR15, because they are ignorant to guns and the 2A and why we have it.
