Stats are only as good as the raw data entered.
What were gun laws like in the 1800's, or abortion, for example? We live in a different world, and the left is emotionally driven, more so than the right.. Its a brain thing..

Oh, easy... by throwing math books at the shooter.

Obama vastly improved healthcare over what previously existed. 20 million Americans were introduce to decent healthcare (in many cases) for the first time in their entire lives.

Many intelligent and patriotic Americans attempted to craft legislation that would truly cover ALL Americans, equally.

We just simply had to TWEAK it! NOT destroy it all together!

Soon we'll have no place for these gun nuts or their victims to go for healthcare...

Trump promised it more recently than 11years ago. Repeal and replace the ACA on day one and healthcare will cost just a tiny fraction of what it is now. He said it over and over and those goobers ate it up along with the Mexico will pay for a wall nuttiness.

Would you stand in front of 30 kids throwing books, shoes or chairs at you? Try holding an unloaded weapon and pointing - especially if you think you could lose an eye! If the assailant drops his weapon; there is the chance to charge. But whole classrooms have to practice with experts training them. It would empower the class and give them hope where there is only fear.

I'm using cold, hard stats and you accuse me of being emotionally driven.

Can't win.

The fact that you are suggesting this...........for a SCHOOL just goes to show how bloody terrible life has become in parts of what is (supposed) to be a first world country in the 21st Century. The fact that this kind of 'suggestion' is even considered is a tragedy. Its a bloody school for Chrissake. What's next? Kitting out kindergarten kids with bullet proof vests? An armoured car instead of a school bus? Every high school kid given a semi-automatic and a gun belt 'just in case'? Very, very, very sad that the US has come to this.

People already are considering kitting out their kids in bullet proof accessories.

But the boys must have their AR15s so they can have a ball killing hogs, so suck it up and outfit your young one to go out into a warzone. The AR15 cult has no intention of worrying about your kids safety. It interferes with their fun.

Mind altering drugs is the elephant in the room. And some just don't get it. If you aren't angry or under the influence of mind altering drugs, whos to say incidents like this would ever happen.

And how many millions of people are on these drugs and NOT doing anything violent? In fact, living normal lives, productive lives?

There is more than one thing at play here.
