We all know the "message" behind that film and the fact that the person's background was the reason why it won.
It didn't win Best Picture, it won Best Screenplay. How are you interpeting the "message"? And Jordan Peele's background is in comedy and he has consistently been nominated (or won) for screenplays and writing since 2007. Clearly that's his strong suit, which is especially hard in the comedy genre.

I didn't believe it. But yep, for best Best Make-Up. But you know that movie was hard to get through. Maybe it was Will Smith. He ruins everything.

Heath Ledger won Best Supporting for The Joker, so it's a officially a win for DC, but Nolan's take on Batman is such departure for what's come afterward and before for that matter. (Although Michael Keaton is still one of my favs. George Clooney and Ben Affleck should be ashamed )

I was actually quite surprised at all of the awards suicide squad was nominated for.

It isn't hard to figure it out. It was propaganda.

Wait! if more guns means more killings shouldn't there have been a massacre at the Oscars?

Award ceremonies are boring for the most part. And yeah, if I want to watch the news or a debate on politics, I'll watch the news shows.

I don't begrudge them their opinions, but I don't watch the award shows anymore in great part because of the political speeches. Even if I agree with them, that's just not what i want out of an award show. We need a rest from politics - that's why we go to the movies.

Well if it isn't hard to figure out, then it should be easy-peasy for you to spell out here. Proceed...

I never cared for award shows. I don’t care what they are wearing and certainly haven’t watched most of the movies they honor.
