Parents, raise your children properly and teach your children to obey the laws and NOT to commit murder!

Why is that so damn hard?

I am so tired of people blaming others for their own problems.

Unfortunately its not that easy. for instance, if a govt was tyrannical, would you really want to teach your kids to obey and be subservient? Of course not.

Oh - I was thinking application of the death penalty within a month of the crimes committed - in cases like Florida where we KNOW who committed the crimes.

But yeah - on the preemptive measures - you are on target.

My method is more punitive based.

While it would be nice to be able to 'wish away' mental illness, that's not possible.

I certainly wouldn`t teach my kids to grab an assault rifle and murder their elected officials. Define "tyrannical" for me.

People were raised that way. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always stay that way for various reasons. People rebel, some have mental issues, there’s always been social deviants

Government should let teachers and parents spank their kids like in past generations. Obviously, the parents or teachers shouldn't beat the child. Perhaps if the government allowed teachers to humiliate the student in front the class with a single board spank, then maybe kids would behave. Problem is people don't feel any shame over their crime or wrong doing. Shame and dishonor is why people don't commit these massacres in east Asia. In the United States, people don't feel shame and don't care about honor.

Plenty of kids who aren’t spanked grow up fine.

If the only way you know of to "teach" a child is to hit him you are doing something wrong. You don't teach a kid not to be violent by using violence.

OP, do you advocate raising children in caves with no access to the outside world? Because that's the only way your "method" would work.
