We used to charge the unpopular kids in school with having cooties without specifying which particular bugs those were.

We grew out of that eventually. Usually by grade three.

A woman I know smacked me when I mentioned cooties... She thought I was talking about something else.

OK, so you don't like public schools. Send your kids to private schools, but don't ask for my tax dollars to help you pay for it.

Ya, history has shown in this nation, when the ruling power tries to disarm the public, it doesn't go well. Except for the tree of liberty, that gets watered with the blood of tyrants.
