The gun business loves people like Obama and Hogg, but for other reasons than these two wish for!

I think it is rather clear about the 1st amendment, but let's take an example or two.

Say, that you can't do a filabuster because that is kind of automatic application of speech.

Say, that before you go out to do a protest, a background check has to be conducted on you.

Say, or instead of that, that you need a license for the public display of speech (just like for to carry a handgun). For that license, you will need to attend a 2 day class, fill out security forms, have your finger prints taken. It will cost you about $300 (that was what it was for me at the turn of the century), half for the class, half for the agencies to do the background check on you. It will be "shall issue" if they can't find anything that prohibits and it should come back by the 6th month. Then you can protest all you want....except in certain prohibited places, just like for the gun......except if you have been drinking ANY alcohol, just like carrying a gun...........except if the place posts some kind of 30.06, 30.07 sign, just like carrying a gun.

Say if the laws about guns were similarly applied to the 1st Amendment. That's what that means.

Yes, they have imposed 22,000 gun laws, and a myriad of requirements, and restrictions on the Second Amendment. Why was the 2A, next after the 1A? Now they want even more restrictions, and laws to the point of bans, and confiscation from the LAW ABIDING. They don't care about controlling the criminals, they only care about controlling honest citizens.

You want to know what the real tragedy is with your thinking? A genuine huckster is sitting in the White House, and you, like almost all Trump supporters, remain oblivious to this.
Not a "Trump supporter".
It's time for you and others to drop that assumption (or the feeble attempt at an insult) just because someone disagrees with your uber liberal views...

Complete and submit a Form 4 and pay the $200 transfer tax.

Transferable full autos currently range from about $4,000 or so up to well over $50,000.

must get your Federal Firearms License (FFL)

Permit and license are interchangeable, just like a driver's license or drivers permit, etc.
A federal firearms license is not required to own a full auto weapon, only to be a dealer in full auto weapons.

My original statement is 100% correct - "There is no permit required to own a full auto rifle"

And approval from local magistrate or chief of police or sheriff.

Why go after the AR15?

Mass shootings by AR15 in the past 11 years is around 170 deaths (average 15 deaths a year) compared to handguns which is in the many 1000's per year. Heck, hand strangulation's causes more deaths a year than mass shootings are done by AR15's, yet we are not banning human hands. There has been roughly 160 mass shootings in the past 11 years, how many do you think were done with AR15's vs handguns?

So, I ask again, why the AR15 and not any other weapon?

If you're honest with yourself, you'd say that you got brainwashed by left wing MSM.
