You posted a tweet saying that Trump said more people are saying "One Nation Under God" while saying that isn't what he said, he said more people are saying One Nation Under God because of him??

This is getting far too meta for me.

As for the thread title, it was a cut and paste of the article title from the linked article.

I guess some people missed the day they taught reading comprehension.

3. Following Christ means rejection of empire.

Their issue is that some retailers choose to say Happy Holidays instead. They are angry that not everyone is forced to say Merry Christmas and some people choose the more inclusive Happy Holidays. Of course, "Happy Holidays" has been around forever. Bing Crosby sang a song with the title all the way back in the 1940s. It's also not explicitly anti-Christian as there are more holidays in December besides just Christmas. Why do they get so outraged about it then? Because Fox News tells them to be outraged.

Lightbulb Trump Claims Credit for ‘One Nation Under God,’ Which Started in 1954

Ol' chubs is slipping.

Maybe what's left of his mind will completely shut down before Mueller puts him away.

Sad!

Yet the man has the nerve to talk about how he brought the term "One Nation under God" back?

And for the evangelicals who said they gave him a "mulligan" for his past transgressions, would those same evangelicals look the other way and give Obama a mulligan if he cheated on his wife with a porno star and a playboy model? No, they wouldn't. Because evangelicals are hypocrites. Political party before God.

People make mistakes and atone for them. That doesn't mean they can't or don't return to their Christian values afterwards. God is forgiving, remember?

Lol, the lefty liberals are the worst at insulting those that don't agree with their so-called progressive thinking. Your remarks are proof of that. Rosie O'Donnell got called a nasty woman because she first attacked Trump with her own nastiness. The remark that Trump made towards females in general was long ago. What does One Nation Under God have to do with that?

I most certainly would give any politician or president a mulligan for "past" transgressions as it would have nothing to do with the present or their ability to lead. No, I'm not a hypocrite as you can see and you can't make the claim that most conservatives or evangelicals are either. Typical stereotyping and assumption by people like you who are just Trump and conservative haters.

Really? Just what other holidays are there in December other than Christmas and what is wrong with saying Merry Christmas when that's the holiday that people are buying for and talking about?

So your philosophy is to never be the bigger person? That it's moral to seek revenge?

And some never consider their transgressions as 'mistakes' and have no idea what atonement even means.

I've never once felt like a second class citizen because of my faith. Ever. Also, Allah is God. I realize languages other than English probably confuse you, and brown people with a different faith tradition scare you, but Allah is the Aramaic word for God, in the same way that Jehovah is one of the Hebrew words for God.
