This is just Trump appeasing his right wing supporters for the upcoming midterms, it will be challenged in the courts and they will lose once again but his supporters will give him credit for trying. I have to wonder if there is an abortion in his background somewhere.

Title X has been around for 60 years and had bipartisan support but now we need to pull the plug. Even if approved this wont change abortions one bit but it will make healthcare access more difficult for those near the bottom.
Do some research.

There are low cost health clinics in every town where there is a PP. Every/Single/ One.

What would change if PP disappeared? Fewer abortions. That's it.

Aren't you a woman?

You want the Federal Government having a say over your body and personal choices?
When it supports murder, than yes, it's wrong. NO woman should be allowed to choose to murder just because it's "convenient"

Well, let's bring back slavery in the US. Maybe add serfdom in there too. Paddles in the classroom to beat the kids who get out of line!! Because if it happened in the past, well, logic says it's good enough for today!!

Good gawd.

deplorable!

There is nothing amusing about a broken argument. You have not found a contradiction.

They think the fetus is a human being, and they are granting that human civil rights which would include the second amendment at maturity. Ever wonder why they laugh at these leftist, concocted arguments? They see no contradiction because they are focusing on the fetus and not the woman. Same reason why we have no problem having the police haul someone away when they violate someone else's civil rights. The fetus is a civilian in their eyes. No contradiction.

That's how they see it.

If you want to get under their skin, ask them if its OK to kill a child of rape. Most of them think rape and incest is OK to "murder". If the fetus is a child, then how can anything justify it? They must be against abortion entirely if its a child.

So I actually agree with the more prototypical leftist position . However, how can I work with such pathetic political allies such as the typical leftist who cannot compute the most basic logic? Why would I want to work with *bleeps* who want "women to choose", and be free while assaulting my rights? You have a contradicted position.

It's an elective procedure. Not healthcare.

Kinda like a nose job or eyebrow lift. It's NOT healthcare. Pregnancy is not a medical condition that needs a *cure*

Abortion stays legal and like many things they do not fund currently, taxpayers will no longer provide any funding whatsoever to abortions?

I am failing to see the problem.

People who want abortions can still get them, and people opposed to abortion and the funding thereof will no longer be involuntarily forced to fund something they disagree with. Everyone wins.

Every single abortion provided in America isn't free. Depending on the state, taxpayers at the state AND federal level fund ~35-50% of abortions performed by year. For taxpayers who are completely opposed to the practice, that's seriously FUBAR.

If the 300k or so abortions aren't funded by taxpayers, someone will fund them, or the recipient of that "care" will pay for themselves. Do not confuse "did not pay" with "COULD NOT pay." Not everyone who takes advantage of taxpayer funded abortion is incapable of paying, they simply choose not to because they don't have to.

It's a voluntary procedure, so the person receiving the service should pay as they go. Not real complicated, and it doesn't take away anyone's rights.

There's a thought, no?

I'm not getting WHY so many people think they're entitled to services paid for by others via confiscation of their income or wealth. Just run PP on voluntary donations. Then, everyone's happy. The limousine liberals get to feel good about actually supporting a cause which they've frequently claimed they support, and those who need free services (largely due to their own irresponsibility) get free services paid for by someone else. It's win/win!
