I'm pro-life, but hasn't it been a known fact for years that federal funds have never gone towards abortions at planned parenthood and other clinics for women?
Federal funding only goes towards STD tests, birth control, etc. Not abortions.
Apparently it's not as well known as you'd think, because some people refuse to believe facts if those facts don't suit their agendas.

Are you saying Dems don't want to help the woman after the baby is born----that is what you are saying, you know. They just want poor women to go get an abortion. Problem taken care of----just kill the baby.
No, we are saying Republicans don't want to help the woman, or her baby, after the baby is born. How has the GOP dominated Iowa increased funds for single parents due to their new heartbeat bill? What is being proposed on a federal level to help single mothers after PP funding is stopped? What have you done?
"The rule announced today is legally appropriate, because it acts on the statutory language that prohibits Title X funds from supporting abortion. It is constitutionally sound, as the Supreme Court ruled in Rust v. Sullivan. And it is morally right, because it curtails the use of taxpayer dollars to support a practice that many millions of taxpayers rightly regard as brutal and unconscionable—a taking of innocent human life, and so a grave, avoidable injustice and a stain upon the nation’s moral character.
This is just a modest step in the right direction on federal abortion policy, but every step counts."
This bill has nothing to do with abortion funding which is already prohibited and already audited, this is an obvious attempt to close abortion clinics and it will fail in the courts.
"Abortion clinic manager turned pro-lifer Abby Johnson once described a conversation she and the workers at her abortion facility had about Hern. Johnson said her boss at the time said the babies aborted by Hern are so large, “they come out crying and looking for their mama.”
I don't know why all abortion workers don't turn pro-life with what they witness.

Then what laws do you want put in place that will assure that every pregnancy woman will give birth, or else face serious consequences?
Keep religion OUT of government and out of a woman's right to choose.
Sure...then don't rely on our money funding abortions...PP shouldn't get taxpayer money to perform abortions. And of course they can say theydon't, but if you give them money, it does let them do so...pretty easy to just move money around to show it spent where it should be, and sell aborted baby parts to supplement income. So the abortions let them make a profit.
PP doesn't perform mammograms... https://www.factcheck.org/2012/10/pl...nd-mammograms/
IF they wanted, they could provide every other service, like std screenings, birth control, pap smears, prenatal care and not abortions and have the govt fund them...if they thought those services were important. They don't think they are that important...abortions allow them to sell baby parts, and make a profit...have you seen their payroll of their execs???

Where? PP doesn't provide prenatal care. Do you really expect anyone to believe PP will let a cash cow (sorry, I know that's offensive but it makes a very clear point) walk out of their facility and spend those healthcare $$$ elsewhere?
Like it or not, some Planned Parenthood centers offer prenatal care.
