So you got Comey saying the investigation was not of the email server but of the topics discussed on it.
But Clinton was the classification authority for the State Dept. And for discussions going on within the State Dept she could personally decide what was or was not classified. And the only authority that could override her would be the President.

It was personally convenient. And if you ask Comey it would have made no difference if it was a gmail or a state.gov account. And if she wished to avoid FOIA it would have been simple for her to dump emails not specifically preserved. But she did not do so.

Of course not. But if SofS Clinton writes that to an aide or even say Blumenthal it is automatically classified Top Secret? Just how does that work?
