Oh, man, if I didn't know better I would think this post was a parody. But I do know better. You are actually serious.

This, coming from a Trump supporter, is just comedy gold.

Without the left wing extremists in the media David the Hogg is just another loud mouth teen who should be ignored.

I'd lean more towards pulling ads to step away from the fight but people are assuming there was a political statement implied by pulling those ads.

The same goes with the NRA ads. It's far better for brand/reputation management to steer clear of a fight rather than wade into the mess.

Obviously, some companies will take a side, as is their right.
I don't disagree with you, but I don't think your post refuted mine.

Hogg put out the list to pressure Laura Ingrahams advertisers to stop advertising on her show. The vast majority of those on the list, stopped advertising on her show. Many companies also cut ties with the NRA partly in response to the attention (or the 'mess' as you call it) Hogg was bringing to the issue.

So Hogg's lists achieved something (not everything that he wanted), MongooseHugger's have achieved nothing that were aware of.

Can we put David Camera Hogg in a big weaponized cage match with that left wing idiot that ran over people in Charlottesville?

These are the tactics he has “figured out” with the help of adult activists. This is their new thing. He has been told that the way to protest is to go after the money. He does it with politicians who get money from the NRA. He does it with Publix. He does it with Laura Ingraham.

This has been his modus operandi from the start. One hopes that advertisers realize that a large portion of their potential customers do not follow this kid and will tell him to go away. Right now they’re acting like college administrators cow-towing to these kids, only to find that the next year’s enrollment numbers are horrible and they have to start considering layoffs.

If this kid changes his tactics, it will be to something more radical or he will drop out of the public eye altogether. I hope he gets away from the people he’s been talking to because they have taken advantage of his vulnerability and used him as a shield. Maybe he wants to be that shield, but he has hardly had a chance to breath since the Parkland shooting. I’m not sure this is good for him mentally.
