Ultimately, I wonder what the liberals would do if we actually had a government that began behaving like the Nazis did before and during WWII? What would you do if there were actually black-clad soldiers and paramilitary organizations roaming the city streets collecting anyone accused of not agreeing with the Nazi hierarchy's policies and beliefs... and either killing them outright or throwing them in what amounted to a prolonged, agonizing death that was worse than just being shot in the head outright? I wonder what the libs would do if special Waffen SS and/or Einsatzpruppen thugs went around the country killing them because of their political beliefs or education? Hmmm? What would you guys do? Then you'd actually have something to ***** about, wouldn't you?
Calling ANYTHING that Trump is doing or has done "Nazi" is beyond stupid, especially if you know what the Nazis actually did when they assumed power and afterwards, as you say you do. It's at best stupid and at worst you being purposely deceptive in the extreme.

Back in the 1970's my husband's aunt and uncle lived next door to a German couple who fled the Nazis. No they were not Jewish. In fact he was a Scientist who worked for the Third Reich.
What happened? His neighbors overhead him and his wife criticizing the mistreatment of Jews. They reported him, for not being a loyal German.
Unlike the refugees we have today coming over the Mexican border, this man had something America needed and wanted. Science that the Nazis were working on. Think he had any trouble seeking asylum in America??? What did Trump say about wanting the "right" kind of immigrant to America?
I had very long talks with this man. He described from the beginning stages how it all started. Free speech was the first thing to be quashed. National sense of pride against all others. Incite the public against a common enemy; Jews. Think about this. Make America Great Again. We don't need any foreign allies because America alone is great. Mexican migrants are our enemy, and starting to be, "Liberals/Democrats". Are we next the next group to be targeted? "You don't like it, leave this country".

Say what??? Your title is very misleading. Well-educated, practical people who have common sense all voted for President Trump. This country is rebounding from a moribund economy to one that is vibrant. It may take a little longer for America to become less divided with our ideals and opinions, but right now, we are not in a path to Nazi Germany like you suggest. Trump has us in the right direction right now. His opposition, however, wants us to go back to the way things were under his sorry predecessor.

When everyone in power is of one party, all sorts of evils could conceivably occur. (and this goes for Dems also). Checks and balances mean nothing if everyone is on the same team.
