We need to replant our rain forests! I've thought for decades that the Amazon rain forest was vital to our planet's health. That and cutting the world's population of humans by half and keeping it at that level.

I agree that the Amazon forest is important, but in regards to climate change the huge northern forest is even more important.

The boreal forest holds an incredible amount of carbon locked up in its soil, peatland, permafrost and vegetation.... Together, carbon storage and sequestration make a healthy boreal forest critical for a stable climate.
