Meh. Fake news mainy. Social pressure forced the loons to take their childish blimp down. Trump should have never gone there but I get that he’s trying to make an effort. I bet a silent majority of Brits actually like Trump and wish they had him as a leader.
So, they floated a balloon, and screamed at the sky...for what?
Anything specific, or just TDS?
To properly mock the ridiculous orange man with the huge ego and thin skin. To show him just what the country thinks of him. To give him a solid taste of what insulting friends gets an unpopular president.
Gee, ya gotta wonder why he's not trotting out Kellyanne to 'splain what he really meant.
He doesn't need to do that anymore. He just says Fake News and his loyal followers nod their heads in agreement. They seem to have so much invested in him that they can overlook anything. We truly are at a strange point in American History.

Since when is it Trump's business to dictate trade policy to the English prime minister while visiting, denigrate her and say a fellow politician would "make a great prime minister". He also said previously that the British prime minister was "too schoolmistressy". These are not things that need to be said, he's just being **s.
Trump doesn't have "more support" he has the Trump supporters and that's all. He won a minority election and he's never had majority support. He is willfully ignorant and says he doesn't trust the news because the news says things he doesn't like. Just yesterday he was saying how much the British people like him when in fact, most British people don't like him at all. Again, willfully ignorant and also delusional. How many times do we have to hear Trump bragging about himself and calling himself a very stable genius?
So true. The majority of this country is embarrassed by Trump and do not agree with his insulting our friends. We can't wait until he's gone.
The unfortunate thing though is that Trump's popularity has not budged at all among his base since the election. Among Republicans he's one of the most popular Presidents in history. If the same people vote in 2020 who voted in 2016, Trump will win again simply because he's adored by his base. Now it won't take much to defeat Trump if Democrats get out and vote, especially in the Rust Belt. But still, a lot of people underestimate Trump's popularity as well as the dedication of his supporters. Around 40% of Americans support Trump and most of them are very strongly committed.
You're getting it the wrong way round. Britain is the best friend America has in the world. We stick by you, when others turn away. Trump's time will pass. We will remain friends.
Yep. I've said the same thing to the people wringing their hands over Trump "destroying our relationships".
Um, no any relationship that can end with a single PM or president is fake from the beginning.
