I understand that but what statement do you think they are trying to make when they wear Puerto Rico hats and shirts? I don’t walk around with a Massachusetts shirt or hat on, I don’t fly a Massachusetts flag on my front porch. I live in Boston, there are a lot of islanders here, including Virgin Islanders but you wouldn’t know it because they don’t flaunt it like Puerto Ricans do.
They are only Americans when it serves their purpose.
