There is another side to that coin. The young woman in the video below currently gets an allowance of $1000 a month and it's not enough. Corporate welfare creates people like the one below, and you voted for it.

I watched the video and I think you provided a bad link. Absolutely nothing in that video has anything to do with corporate welfare. For that matter, the text of your post is nonsensical as well. It seems like you're confusing corporate welfare with public government assistance programs.

Yep - and the OP has no idea what corporate welfare is. Somehow, they have conflated a young women who doesn't want to work with corporate welfare.

The original estimations for the B2 were based on 132 aircraft but they only ever built 20 of them hence the reason the cost per aircraft spiraled upwards.
If you think it is expensive to buy warplanes, it is infinitely MORE expensive NOT to.

Yes, corporations make America better and stronger, while bums are just, well...., bums (a form of parasite).

Why? Afghanistan didn't spend trillions on war planes and what have we accomplished there with ours? Nothing. We can defend our borders by spending far less than we do.

However, there are some notable exceptions that must not be overlooked because the companies involved are crucial to our nation.

Specifically, companies, mostly defense-related companies, that have skilled work forces on the payroll, from engineers to assembly personnel, that build the weaponry and other materiel crucial to national secrity, that keep our nation free. It is Imperative, that they be supported and largely intact, even in "lean" years so that we don't jeopardize our nation strategically.

it took many decades, in some cases nearly a century, to get these companies where they are technically, and no matter what, they must survive for they are critical.

It is also important to note that most things people refer to as corporate welfare are not welfare at all. For example, oil depletion, which is nothing but depreciation of an asset (oil field).

Mostly, it is a term used by LWNJs as a shield to deflect criticism of individual welfare (which has helped build a nation of parasites).
Yes, they are critical, but the treaties passed over the last 30 years are sending key industries overseas. Our steel mills and aluminum works wouldn't need tariffs if big business wasn't so myopic.

No Charlie, this is not a bad link. This is what ostentatious wealth creates. Tomorrow's leadership caste.

While the rest of us struggle through cutbacks, corporate welfare in the form of free overtime, and other things that put us in an early grave.

The young woman in the video may wake up and buckle down, but she will never know how the rest of us toil. She may be one of tomorrow's leaders and never have the compassion necessary if we go into another depression.
