Like last weeks fish, the longer he is around the worse he smells. I'm sure the GOP isn't short on aristocratic twits

And no--going to the police is not as efficient as doing this
Because the police do not make their investigations public
Because there is little likelihood there is enough credible evidence to charge Kavanaugh this long after the fact
Which is good
Because this process is not a LEGAL criminal trial
It is a job interview for a place on the Supreme Court
And there is no due process attached to a job interview
For any job---even POTUS...
Did the FBI or police investigate Michael Jackson? Did the police investigate and charge Bill Cosby or the FBI?
Were those hush hush and never heard about. She is IN FACT alleging FELONIES, not just a slap on the wrist type thing. It might just help if you knew what you're harping about don't ya think?

You see how insane you're sounding?

March Mark Judge's arse over to the Senate Judiciary Committee via subpoena and have him spill his guts. March Kavanaugh's arse over to the DOJ and hook him up to a lie detector test. Then you can march Ford's arse down to the PD's office.

My assumption was always that Steele's dossier was true, except for the Golden Showers money line.

That's how smears work. Slander is served as the meat in a truth sandwich. It's easier for the rubes to swallow that way.

I'm waiting for Golden Showers. That's what was promised. That's what got people excited. Could be true. No evidence yet.

Hey, BB...

I don't put it past the increasingly desperate senate Pubs to cram Kavanaugh through, no matter what. In fact, that's pretty much what McConnell was yipping and yapping about this afternoon.

But if they do that, it's the GOP that'll be devastated as a result. They already have Thomas and his dirt on their hands. Putting a second sexual predator on the SC might be a teensy bit unpopular with a large % of half of America's population.

We all know why tRump wants him SO badly.

Stay tuned...

Enough with the lie detector tests. Never ever going to happen. They’re easy to beat and easy to have be erroneous. Hell. I can beat one because I was taught how to do so.

Oh I see, YOU think the justice system in our country works backwards now. Listen very, very closely, that's NOT how it works.
The "victim" trotts her arse down to the Police station in Maryland and files a complaint. That complaint is either investigated or not and then it proceeds from there. At NO POINT is anyone forced to take a test that is not admissible in court or that can be tricked (by a skilled psychologist maybe?).

You see, we have this thing called a CONSTITUTION and a BILL OF RIGHTS. Accuser presents their case and the accused gets to defend themselves. Sooooo sorry that's inconvenient for you.

They're accused of different things, different numbers of times, at different time periods, with different levels of evidence. People were comparing Kavanaugh to Ted Bundy a couple of days ago.

Just because there has not been those witnesses to come forward doesn't mean there ARE none...

It could be that Kavanaugh's dad or someone had a very serious discussion with him at some point and pointed out that he was only going to jail if he kept doing the dumb, sexual harassment schict he had been doing...
Even in the 80's guys did go to prison for rape--although not very often judges' sons...
And Kavanaugh is probably lucky that he targeted girls/women who were not a real threat in that their parents were not MORE wealthy/politically connected that his were or his friends' parents were...
He isn't stupid
Predators usually have an instinct for how to target prey

And frankly alcohol is a drug--
The two stories we have had come to light involve drinking--even if Ford wasn't drunk--that is likely the only reason she COULD resist and try to fight back

If most of Kavanaugh's "dates" were pretty blotto then likely there was little resistance
as Mark Judge's former girlfriend said he confessed to her about the time he and friends had sex with a female who was so drunk she wasn't really conscious...
Unconscious, drunk women don't usually make credible witnesses when they accuse men of rape...
Just like those given "date rape" drugs designed to render them unconscious w/no memory...

Perhaps Mr. Kavanaugh does not know what the definition and scope of sexual harrassment is? That is appalling for a judge.

In employment training we are told time and again - it's more how the treatment is RECEIVED by the recipient and not how it's delivered by the harrasser.
