I am pointing out that there's ample evidence of prejudice towards non-white people in a lot of communities, and that some police departments seem happy enough to cater to that, when it suits their purpose. As do some news outlets. Simple as that.

FFS, you already have elan talking about "baggies on the counter".

Though I gotta admit that "negative interaction" is an impressive euphemism for "gunned down in your own home".
I am merely trying to dispel some rumors being spread around here. A) FOX was NOT the only news media reporting the pot. B) His toxicology report has NOT been reported. Jesus, I'm on his side, not hers.

Default The Question of whether a crime was committed.

Dallas TV Station talked to local defense lawyers...

And that is the problem with the charges against the officer.

She recklessly entered the apartment; she intentionally fired her gun, causing the victim's death. She could properly be charged with murder.

I think that is correct and is manslaughter. I think it is murky that she could be convicted of murder if it was that her intent was self defense.

I don't think murder is appropriate. People make stupid mistakes and sometimes it is fatal. She has to live with this now.

That's true. But unless she is a total psychopath her life will never be the same. If I hit and killed somebody with my car by accident, I don't think I could live with myself.

Oh please. Taking a gun out deliberately & deliberately shooting someone is not an accident. She deserves to rot in hell. I could give 2 shytes that her poor life is forever changed. No sympathy from me. Maybe she’ll suffer some unfortunate “accident “.

She'll walk.

That would be the second crime against Jean, but I predict she'll walk.
