BS. Prosecutors charge perps with fetal homicide WITHOUT the consent of the formerly pregnant woman. Rape, murder, etc, trials occur under similar circumstances. Have you never heard of a prosecutor having to treat their own witness(es) as "hostile?" Please tell me you aren't that ignorant.
I am really concerned that our country is going in the wrong direction. Can you imagine how many lives will be destroyed if such things were to be overturned?
Of course gay marriage should stay and leave it up to the states to decide on Roe V Wade. I lean left on many social issues, right on other issues, but don’t see a problem with the way the country is going. Our 401k’s are thriving, healthy housing market, jobs are plentiful.
I was seriously considering the Portland area as a place to move, but the Antfa crowd directing traffic there is very off putting. I just want to mind my own business and get on with it. Why don’t they? Having people pounding on your car and screaming at you is going in the wrong direction for sure.
The reason why there are so many unintended pregnancies is because they are easy and cheap to get and no one ever questions a woman's choice to kill her baby. Cause and effect. In the six months I worked for the abortion doctor, he performed abortions 5 and 6 on a 22 year old woman. It was obvious that she never gave a second thought to making responsible sexual choices. If a woman can't even think hard enough to figure out something like this, there's something seriously wrong with our culture.

You asked how one person could be exempt from charges and another person not exempt.
My answer: Consent.
When a woman ends a pregnancy the doctor does the procedure with her consent.
When someone assaults a woman and that ends her pregnancy she has not given consent.
{Unless we go back to pre Roe v Wade days when desperate women consented to a beating in hopes of ending a pregnancy, you know, the good ole days. }

Yep. Live and let live is really the best mindset to have. As long as you're not affecting anyone else's rights, then do as you please. That used to be the liberal platform. Unfortunately, they have gone all in on identity politics, big government, and violence (RESIST!).

This post makes no sense. Unless the women asked the accused to specifically end their pregnancy they had no consent to cause the women physical harm that ended in loss of life. It has nothing to do with consent to bring charges...
I'm all in favor of overturning Roe v Wade. No justification for allowing the murder of innocent unborn children. AND don't tell me unborn children are not people. I seem to remember that Scott Peterson, was convicted of killing two people, his wife and his unborn child.
So I gather if abortion was banned, you would tolerate women giving themselves abortions in the comfort of their homes with help for instructions from the Internet, if needed. If not, then how to you propose to put a stop to women doing their own abortions, in order to end all abortion?
It is legal to have sex. It is not legal to force someone to have sex without their consent.
It is legal to get a tattoo. It is not legal to tattoo someone without their consent.
It is legal for a woman to end her pregnancy. It is not legal to end a woman's pregnancy without her consent.
What about the person upon which the abortion is performed, to wit, the pre-born infant? It is always amazing to me how you "people" sugar coat infanticide (in utero) by calling it "choice" or "ending pregnancy", instead of what it really is, i.e. abortion.
See you omit the other half of the coin, the fatal half, the one in which somebody actually dies, and in a most horrible way.
It is NOT OK to end the life of the pre-born baby without her consent.
But heck, if Liberals want to eat their unborn young, who am I to object.
