Just watched Chappaquiddick last week, made me realize just what a complete douchebag Teddy Kennedy really was. At the same time it was interesting to see what happens in the "halls of power". Looking forward to Watergate.
There's a new documentary, "Watergate," which is supposed to be very good (it currently has a rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), and I'm curious to see it - but it's four hours long!
I enjoyed the documentary. It brought a few things together in the video that I didn’t know about back in the day or had forgotten about. I don’t think most people would like it unless they wanted to know or was interested in history. If you are then it’s a good movie.
I don't need to see it. I watched Watergate unfold in real time. Watched every minute of the Watergate hearings presided over by Senator Sam Irvin. Read the Washington post every day. Watched on live TV as Nixxon climbed into the helicopter on the south lawn of the White House, turned around and flashed his ridiculous double V sign one last time, then flew off into the sunset. That was a happy day. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I'm looking forward to a similar finale for one Donald J. Trump.
I did that with Game of Thrones so i could watch last season in real time.
But, I will definitely watch Watergate but definitely not in any theater.
Game of Thrones is good. I binged House of Cards and Orange is the New Black too. I'll watch it, but I don't do darkened rooms full of people I don't know, so I avoid theaters.
