We don’t need to raise taxes to accomplish those goals. We just need to cut the military in half and spend the money that we would be spending on war and putting it towards taking care of our own people.

Taxes, health care, education, and other social services are issues that matter to me the most but democrats are making immigration the focal point of their platform which sidelines all the other issues.
How are the democrats forcing illegal immigration by providing a path to citizenship and attracting people of other countries to move and make a life in the u.s.?

You make it sound as if US is completely shutting down our border and preventing new immigrants from immigrating to US I guess that is why my wife (she is originally from China and came here on a marriage visa) got her green card in April, 2018. Explain that

On average, there are close to 1 million immigrants receiving their green card each year

Explain this:
U.S. Citizens Targeted by ICE: U.S. Citizens Targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Texas

In America, Naturalized Citizens No Longer Have an Assumption of Permanence

ICE held an American man in custody for 1,273 days. He’s not the only one who had to prove his citizenship

Deportation of Chinese national detained at green card interview temporarily stopped
"You’s release comes after stepped up pressure from immigrant rights groups, who rallied for You on Monday, and elected officials including Rep. Grace Meng, D-N.Y., and members of New York’s congressional delegation, who wrote to ICE’s New York field office about the case.
<snip>
You was arrested by ICE agents on May 23 at what he and his wife thought was supposed to be an interview for a green card."

Families Torn Apart: Trump’s Quiet Attacks on the Southeast Asian Immigrant Community
Quote:
Many of the community members impacted by ICE’s policies are lawful permanent residents (LPRs) who have lived in the U.S. with their families for decades. After fleeing genocide and war as children, they sought refuge in the U.S., only to be resettled in poor urban areas without adequate resources.

Uh, undocumented immigrants can't vote. You're entitled to your dogma but facts are a stubborn thing.

When they naturalize (pathway to citizenship) or their kids become voting age - they tend to vote Democratic. This is known by everyone, and why the Democratic party continues to play innocent about US immigration law being so defiled on a daily basis.

Strawman argument.

As for voting - anyone's vote is up for grabs. Maybe the Republicans should go for votes of everyone instead of just fearmongering to the nativist base. Heck, it wasn't all that long ago that the majority of Muslim Americans voted for GOP, up to Dubya.
