As an aside, I wonder if Sayoc abused steroids and other body building "cutting drugs" during his stripper and bb days. Long term side effects have caused many users to go off the rails.
Sayoc has overdeveloped, muscular arms - plus an obvious flabby potbelly. It would not surprise me if excessive alcohol consumption is also an issue here. Combined with steroids, that could be quite a devil's brew.

You are expecting a nut job to use logic regarding calling attention to himself with a van full of hate speech. For all we know he wanted to get caught, thinking he'd be put on a pedestal by the Trump humpers. And Trump would pay his legal fees, as he promised at several rallies he'd do for anyone 'roughing up' the so-called enemy.
And he didn't hand deliver the packages so driving time is moot point. He put them in the postal system.

Tally up all the incidents of violence and intentional destruction of property and the Democrats and the Far Left are doing far far far more of it than the Right. In large degree, the mail bomber who does not deserve to be named may be a result. Take a woman in an abusive relationship. Sometimes she snaps and kills her husband, feeling she has no choice. Because the Left refuses to crack down on the violence coming from their side, this is just going to escalate. You have mayors in cities like Berkeley and Portland where the mayor lets Antifa run wild unopposed quite often. People get hurt and pretty soon the folks on the Right fight back. If the Far Left didn't believe so fervently in violently suppressing the free speech of the Far Right, Heather Heyer would still be alive today.
Trump doesn't help matters one bit, but the Left needs to look very carefully at itself if they want to spike the proverbial football and raise the chorus of, "See we told you so! The Right is the violent ones, not us!" Mr. mail bomber didn't actually hurt anyone. Nothing of consequence actually happened. The same cannot be said for Leftist attackers just within the last 30 days.
Try this: Go get me a tally of all incidents of violent destructive politically motivated activities from the Right. Cases where they started the fight. They went out of their way to attack people who were just minding their own business. Intentionally destroying property. Saying "The real threat is the filthy unwashed masses on the Right!" is a pretty big claim. Can you back it up or is it just a "Go team Democrat!" emotional cheerleader thing? Here's a very incomplete list of what the Left has been doing.
Or you could try this. Go dig up an "I'm With Her" Hillary Clinton hat and T-shirt. Go to wherever you think is the most pro-Trump place in America. Then wear a "Make America Great Again" hat and T-shirt walking around the South Side of Chicago or in any other heavily Democrat area. I will bet any amount that you care to wager you that you get physically assaulted with the MAGA apparel many many times, but you won't be bothered for wearing pro-Hillary stuff.
And by the way, when did the Left become the arrogant rich elitists a-holes who look down all the "mere peasants"? Caring about the poor, unemployed and uneducated used to be their thing. When did that change?

I think you have a confusing typo above, but it appears that Sayoc's family is both being interviewed and is speaking out. His two sisters and a cousin issued statements. His mother had surgery yesterday so it may take a few days for her to be interviewed, but her house will be undergoing scrutiny, since Sayoc stayed with her when he wasn't living in his van.
I have not heard anything about classmates, but the guy is well past his college years. Coworkers have spoken out, however and will also be undergoing interviews with the FBI and perhaps other law enforcement.
Give it time. I am sure a lot is going on behind the scenes right now as the FBI put the pieces together.

Absolutely. And those of us who will never align right or left are not at all surprised by either side's behavior. We will continue to vote issue over party, issue not candidate, issue even if it means the dreaded lesser of two evils.
One would think, by now, the big heads in your left camp would have realized the only way you are going to make a comeback is by winning over us non-party folk with some actual solutions to actual issues. There's so many more of us in the middle than the left cares to acknowledge. Just so happens the issues are being better addressed by the right - not by much - but by enough to sway the vote.
His van is one the things that shout that something is wrong with this story. Also how did this guy deliver pipe bombs from California to Florida in 2-3 days? I agree that Trump is full of B.S but I feel this story isn’t the full story.
