Social Security works. So naturally they want to scrap it. Yes, I will fight for Social Security for myself and my 5 children who are all millennials. If the GOP starts going after SS I will go back to Democrat.

Do you realize your old person welfare check isn't even based on what you actually paid, but what you claimed on 1040s to have earned, and even then only for like dimes on the dollar after $900 monthly?
It's a welfare check that has two requirements - age 63+ and you paid the FICA tax for at least 10 total years your entire life. That welfare check is only related to your "contribution" via calculator, not actually money saved/held. If you have nieces/nephews/children/grandchildren, they are your "lockbox" or "FICA account." When you demand your entitlement, you aren't demanding Leviathan make good with the account number to your trust fund. No, you are demanding that because you funded old people in your day, all the young people can now fund you in their day. You were robbed, so eff you young people, you'll be robbing them right back...because you feel entitled.
That's SS and MC. Government engineered divisiveness and hostility, and a big middle finger to the productive class from the non-productive.
I am not mad in any way right now. I simply understand the basic reality of SS/MC and the cowardice of our political class. If anything, I am sad because so many grown adults who are allowed to vote are almost totally ignorant of those two things.
