How many criminals would be criminals if they were unarmed?

Liberals sure become silent in a hurry when you ask them this question.
The American Revolution happened in part BECAUSE of gun control. In April 1776 British troops marched from Boston to Concord and Lexington, for the purpose of confiscating the colonists' guns. A few colonists found out, and rode ahead of them to spread the warning. The colonists finally had enough of it, confronted the British troops, and fired the first shots of the Revolutionary War.
at least people back then were patriotic enough to stand up to tyranny though, and even resort to violence when necessary.
I would bet if the same thing happened today, those responsible would be labelled domestic terrorists right away and majority of people would be screaming for them to be arrested and jailed for life!! LOL
"About one-in-five (22%) gun owners who say owning a gun is a very important part of their overall identity say they’ve defended themselves with a gun. By contrast, about half as many (12%) gun owners who say their ownership is not too important or not at all important to their identity have used a gun in self-defense."
So the more they love their guns, the more often they feel the need to defend themselves with their guns.
The less they love their guns, the less often they gotta defend themselves with a gun.
I wonder why gun lovers are threatened more often.
A bunch of you didn’t like the wording of my analogy/logic, so I reworded it closer to the premise. Better now?
So gun owners who say owning a gun is a very important part of their overall identity feel the need to defend themselves with their guns just under twice the rate of gun owners who say their ownership is not too important or not at all important to their identity.

And maybe the people which a gun is a very important part of their overall identity are like this because they are threatened?
For example, I'm an Israeli Jew. A lot of people want to kill me and say it openly. So, a gun is very important to me, yes.

A junk premise and research, results in self fulfilling junk conclusions.
