We tried the virtual walls and they were abandoned because there were too many gliches in it. A good physical wall is much more intimidating and helps the Border Patrol do their jobs more effectively. Have you not read all the links I've provided how well the good double walls do work? They aren't just symbols either.

You're forgetting reconciliation, which the Republicans used to ram through their tax bill. That option is now gone too. Both parties will now be forced to work with each other if anything is going to pass.

If Trump is happy to spend the next 2 years doing nothing but appoint a bunch of people he's never heard of to the judiciary because he's told to by The Federalist Society, I guess that's up to him. That would seem to be a pretty disappointing legacy if it were me.

Anyone who believed there was going to be a wall is a fool. Neither party or Mexico was ever going to pay for it. It was a red herring from the very start. Only the gullible thought there would be wall built between Mexico and the United States.

The Great Wall didn’t work out that well for China, just as Hadrian’s Wall didn’t work out for Rome. And that was before cheap air travel.

False. It was Trump that said no after consulting with Herr Stephan Miller.

Ha. Yeah. I don't think a better physical wall would hurt, but it can't beat boots on the ground, patrols, drones, manned aircraft, and technology.
