Former national security adviser Michael Flynn provided "substantial assistance" in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, according to court papers filed Tuesday.
Prosecutors described Flynn's cooperation with federal prosecutors in a sentencing memo filed by Mueller that offered few new details of the Russia probe. Citing the extent of Flynn's cooperation, Mueller's office said a sentence that includes no prison time is "appropriate and warranted."

It means Flynn delivered. I read the document, and Mueller lays out some pretty damning commentary. That Flynn had a special duty to be honest about this, lays out that he helped Turkey, and more. Anyone reading this would look at it and say "How can only 6 months prison be OK?
But then there's 6 pages of redacted information, 19 interviews, documents provided, and mention that it caused others to flip.......and a recommendation of no time. NONE.
Flynn delivered. He flipped 100%, and held nothing back.
He's a general who at one time was a loyal patriot and soldier. He wanted to disavow the treason that Trump and his campaign engaged in and put country first.
We can't write off that Mueller is an establishment Republican and LE guy and it would fit that he would be hesitant to lock up a GENERAL, especially one who was highly thought of before his fall.
The same Justice doesn't apply in our system. Sorry, but it doesn't.

So, how did you come to such a conclusion?
Because Muellers commentary about the bad things Flynn did is not redacted, and he calls out specifically that Flynn should be held to a higher standard.

Flynn is said to have lied, that's it.
None of his contact with the Russians was illegal. It doesn't seem anything he did with Turkey was illegal.
