Works just fine in other countries

Everything is impossible to people like you, which is why you promote inaction. You'd rather sit back and complain as opposed to coming up with solutions.

It just keeps getting better.

Nice try, but a swing and a miss.

"General welfare of the United States." The US Constitution mandates NOTHING WHATSOEVER about providing for the welfare of individuals. Words matter.

Hoards of welfare babies will grow up and more likely make you perish, while depriving you of your precious possessions.

We're talking about irresponsible and unchecked reproduction. It doesn't seem like it would result in the scenario you describe--quite the opposite. So maybe not the best analogy.

Yes, words matter. Everything which would benefit the nation as whole is covered in that. Resolving the issue which are are discussing is a perfect example of something which would benefit the nation as whole. This is actually about REDUCING welfare, not increasing it. Your inaction leads to more people on welfare. For whatever reason you cannot see that, and actually promote a path to more welfare.

I provided several Broward County links to information about the multitude of options for free birth control that already exist.

You'd rather duke it out with IC about the pill?

I'm sure it does. Wake us all up when middle class Americans agree to pay a 45% to 50% effective national income tax rate, as clearly shown in the analysis of typical Euro-zone workers in the 2nd column from the right on page 9, here:

If you get America's middle class on your side, and they're overwhelmingly willing to give up, for example, $25,000+ of their annual $52,000 income to pay for your pipe dream, let us know.

You somehow don't realize that America's middle class is your stumbling block. After the left has been "telling" them for years that they pay too much in taxes, the only hope the left has of spreading their collectivist poison is to tax them even more. Good luck with that.

What's IC?

No, its not "rather". Like I said the program for high-risk people is a good start, which should be expanded.

You think they pay that much just for birth control?

Like I said, this would be a small investment, which would save massive amounts of taxpayer money in reduced welfare spending. You complain about the cost, when we are in fact trying to reduce the cost.
