I doubt it, 70% of Medicaid (welfare) babies never make it out of the bottom quintile income level (ceiling $20,000/year) their entire lives. They're doomed to life in the projects, etc.

You'd rather duke it out with IC about the pill?
Broward County is in FL. What about all the other states? I imagine those outlets have income parameters for distribution of contraceptives. Bet the pill is not among them.

You're assuming those who cannot afford to support a child will suddenly acquire personal responsibility to prevent such a birth. They will not.

Actually, that specific quotation mentions STATES, not individuals. You're merely reading what you wish into it, which is invalid.

Here's an example of the US Constitution explicitly mentioning individuals, and there are many more examples besides this:

"No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen."

Deprive you from your possessions = take it by force aka rob it from you. If you survive the assault, that's great, and if not, you will become a victim of the problem you helped create and maintain.

Yes, in many cases they will be a burden on the society all their lives, which is a problem you are fighting tooth and nail to preserve.

So, while it sounds like a good idea, the implementation is not there yet.

There are several Broward County programs that provide free condoms, even Broward County public schools:

Family Planning Services | Florida Department of Health in Broward

Student Life | Healthy Student Living

https://www.browardprevention.org/wp...urce-Guide.pdf
Broward County Public Schools 754-321-1655
for Broward County youth
You should spread the word around if this is a cause that you feel strongly about.

It says United States. That is us, "we the people". Resolving issues which affect the nation as whole is a Constitutional mandate.

If there was a plague, should the government not provide vaccines because the Constitution has nothing to do with "we the people"? It has EVERYTHING to do with "we the people".

They pay that much for a whole horde of collectivist programs. Let us know when you get middle class Americans to give up $25,000+ of their annual $52,000 income to pay for your pipe dream collectivist programs.

I can't help it... The Dems have already demonized their only means of collecting enough revenue that will be needed to fund collectivist programs. They poisoned their own well when they told the middle class, repeatedly, that they pay too much in taxes. The truth is... they don't pay nearly enough.

It is dishonest to twist things like that. We are talking about birth control, and birth control alone.

As for other kinds of welfare, you are fighting hard to have as many people as possible dependent on it. Soon we'll pay $25 000 a piece to support them. Let me know when you get the middle class on your side.
