Would you deny her the medication or not? That was the question posed to you. I see no answer other than let her die.

He is where the problem lies with government and legal language twisters, called lawyers.
They have created a situation where promoting means exactly the same thing as providing.
The federal government was never to be DIRECTLY involved in the peoples lives. They could only promote things in propaganda, not provide it with tax dollars.
That's nothing but your opinion..... and because you detest seeing others helped and the nation assisting its own people... will never come to be that your opinion will stop the legislatures from enacting programs that help people, the states, the counties, the cities and every other thing that exist in America, including the assistance it provides to business, industry, education and everything else.

Based on your "opinion" ... you'd fight against the government supporting education, as well as against government building roads, bridges and highways, all of which "benefit the people"..... including you.

Maybe for those who don't like the Democracy and the Government of the Nations, could do themselves well, to simply save their money and move to an Authoritarian Nations or one of Dictators such types that provide nothing to or for the people.

Some just don't understand what is involved in a Making and Sustaining a Democracy and its Civil Society with Civic Values for Nations, State, Counties, Cities, Community and People.

Savagery is not a concept and it does not embrace an ideology that can or does understand Civil Society and Civic Values. Savagery and Civility are two very different things.

The health of a society is a national security element in the strength of a nation. A nation is strongest when it people are strong, and to be strong one needs to be healthy.

So its in the courts however you believe they will rule on it based on political popularity not the constitutionality of it?

That's an odd question. Do you somehow not understand the natural evolutionary process?

They have been mooching off the rest of us for decades.
So get a damn job and work for someone else?

Good point. Because everyone is potentially effected by auto accidents. You don't have to own a car to hit by one or be a passenger in an accident. Its the same flawed argument to forcing people to by medical insurance.

We need to look at the issues surrounding overall costs as regards to doctor pay, drug costs, malpractice reform, etc. Get those in line and medical care will be much more affordable without needless government overreach.

Medical care will always be on the rise. It will come down to wealthier people affording health care and the rest of everyone else passing away young. Most people pray they get to 65 to have Medicare. That's how "bad" (rolls eyes) Medicare is. My husband has it and has never had an issue w/ it. The secondary private insurance has been another matter. They are increasing deductibles and co-pays all over the place.

If people don't want Government run Health Care, then when you turn 65 don't sign up or accept Medicare. You can pay privately. LOL. See how that goes at 65 w/all of your pre existings and medical issues.

This is not going to change, instead it will only get worse - because they own our legislators and have for a long time. Now that corporations have the same rights as citizens, this is guaranteed.

I'm a little baffled by people that don't get this, maybe they are too young to see the reality of the situation? Or they just don't care?
Best post on here. Yes, some are young and some don't care as long as they have their medical. Or, they only understand issue if it happens to someone they know and care about it. Some truly do not understand that it can happen to them. Job loss, divorce, medical that isn't covered and so many other situations. We bailed out corporations and banks in 08 and beyond, but have no money for basic medical care for US citizens of whom many who find medical coverage out of reach.

And life insurance, too! Everyone is going to eventually die and it's the survivors who get hurt.

Think of the children.
