THAT, my friend, is the major difference between your team and ours. We see them as humans, your side sees them as a problem.

Could care less about them as a individual, them as a whole is destroying our nation. I want them all gone.

When you get right down to it, most folk don’t care who is working in the kitchen, harvesting crops, packing meat, hanging roofs, or much of anything else so long as it’s cheap. They don’t care the clothes on their back and shoes on their feet were made in Viet Nam, Bangladesh or India. They don’t care where the toaster was made. They don’t care their artificial Christmas’s tree, lights, ornaments, wreaths, greeting cards, wrap and all the presents were made elsewhere. And they certainly don’t care that the ingredients for their holiday dinners likely were sourced by illegals.

Illegal immigration became a tidal wave in the 80’s. Has not mattered who sat the oval or who held the majority, they all kicked the can.

For crying out loud, only a handful of state mandate e-Verify.
Is the left really already rewriting history? Schumer didn't offer Trump $20B in exchange for the dreamers, TRUMP asked for $25B and offered the dreamers. Unbelievable that you would try to flip that around.

Trump seeks $25 billion for border wall, offers 'Dreamer' citizenship

President Donald Trump on Wednesday previewed his outline for an immigration bill that he will promote next week, saying he wants $25 billion to build a border wall and is open to granting citizenship to illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children.
The DEMS rejected it because Schumer couldn't get his way:

Capitol Hill Democrats have rejected a White House bid to extend protections for Dreamer immigrants in exchange for $25 billion in funding for President Trump's long-sought border wall as Washington talks on a $1.3 trillion catchall spending bill hit a critical stage Monday.

Disputes remain over immigration enforcement and a smaller infusion of wall funding, as well as a major rail project that pits Trump against his most powerful Democratic adversary, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York...

...Trump, meanwhile, has privately threatened to veto the whole package if a $900 million payment is made on the Gateway project, a priority for Schumer.
That's what Schumer "offered". He tried to slip in one of his own little projects into the funding bill - which is BS. He's not the "good guy" here.

There is nothing more massive and wastefull than the last 18 years and 6- 8 trillon of useless warfare spending in the middle east - yet its a good bet that almost all of them voted to fund and keep refunding it.

We could have rebuilt this country and built over 100 walls with money Amash voted to use to fund the farce in the middle east.

That is actually illegal in some states, And against party rules in all 50. And no Democrat is going to fall for it anyways.

Say what?? Maybe you might want to rewrite this, so it would be comprehensible?

I'm not following the details of this whole thing, but if the U.S. government will be serving up "free" healthcare, they'd better put up a wall!

Isn't it bad enough that their parents have done so? Americans need their jobs back!

Only those who hire illegals benefit from the cheap labor while the rest of us get the shaft to the tune of over $100 billion dollars a year for their social costs.

Who asked illegals to steal Americans jobs? Certainly not law abiding regular Americans. All those jobs you mentioned should have been done by Americans for a fair wage. Who do you think were doing them before millions of cheap illegals flooded our border? We're not dependent on them for anything nor do we owe them any thanks. What about the rule of law and our immigration laws? Does that mean nothing to you? Most of these illegals are felons by stealing SS numbers to work or worked for cash evading taxes and for that we should be grateful and give them amnesty instead? They also send billions back to their homelands not spent in our economy. They have overcrowded our schools, jails, hospitals, roads and neighborhoods. I guess we should be grateful for that to?

Why are you bringing up the Dreamers and their parents under this topic anyway? This topic is about the wall and trying to prevent more illegals from entering our country.

You're the one who needs to get real!!!
Go tell it to Rick Perry and Greg Abbott. Bob Perry funded the creation of the Republican party in Texas to the tune of millions of dollars. He got that money building houses, using illegals. Most all people moving from other states are surprised at the price of housing in Texas. Illegal, paid under the table, labor. When E Verify was gonna pass it was stopped by Bob Perry.

I have been pissed about this since 1974. Whole subdivisions would go up in 6 months. The builders couldn't install appliances to HVAC units until the house closed because those illegals would install them in day and steal them that night.

If American citizens do not want illegals they can stop buying products produced by illegals. The government can send them all home for all I care.

But that will never happen because the wall is a ruse created by the very same politicians who are paid to let illegals stay. It is just a delaying tactic to mollify their base into thinking some day this fight will be won.

You want wall, find out who is employing illegals. If you can. ICE stopped publicizing the the businesses that were guilty. When Bo Pilgrim,Pappas restaurants, Perry Homes and Shipley donuts declare bankruptcy, I'll believe Republicans are serious about illegals

I can respect Ken Buck's position but if the wall doesn't start to get built now, it never will.

They don't cost us $100 billion a year. Continually repeating that doesn't make it true.

"Two days after the 2017 FAIR report was published Nowrasteh authored a critique that estimated the cost of illegal immigration was between $3.3 billion and $15.6 billion annually. The Cato report focuses on correcting what they say are false assumptions and mistakes in the FAIR study, such as rate of health care use."

https://www.azcentral.com/story/news...omy/691997002/

Cato is lying! For one thing throughout their study they constantly blur the lines between legal immigrants and illegal aliens. They also claimed that FAIR called the U.S. born children of illegal aliens, illegals themselves. That's a lie! FAIR just included them as a part of the costs of illegal immigration and they are! If their parents hadn't violated our borders and gave birth on our soil those expenses wouldn't exist. I'm not going to address everyone of their lies here but there are many others. Any time a study refers to illegal aliens as the undocumented or plain ole "immigrants that's a red flag right there that they are biased and using lies to defend illegal aliens.

Aside from their costs, the bottom line is even if they were somehow an asset to our country they are here in violation of our immigration laws and must be deported. The bottom line is what the focus should really be about. Either we are a nation of laws or we're not!
