On the second point, the fact that we've allocated funds in this recent compromise to create 55 miles of wall in critical areas is perfect. 55 miles out of 1954 miles is 2.8% of the length of the border. I'll go for that.

Done. Let's give Trump his pathetic compromise to soothe his ego, and let's move on.

Why are you once again bringing up a wall for the entire border when I have already told you numerous times it's no longer the plan and hasn't been for some time now? 55 new miles of barrier isn't enough and a Border Patrol spokesman said so this morning on TV. Why do you keep making lame remarks about this being about Trump's ego? That's just plain ignorance! This is about our border security, nothing more and nothing less.

We have had a crisis on our border for decades it's just accelerated with all these caravans coming here now. We still have 30,000 trying to cross our border illegally every single month for God's sake!

Trump learned what works from the boots on the ground why can't you anti-wall people learn from them yourselves? Oh that's right, your agenda doesn't allow for the facts.

Congress was supposed to erect double barriers on 700 miles of the most porous areas of our border back in 2006 BUT DID NOT! What was built was inferior fencing and that needs to be corrected. Why do you have a problem with that?

Thanks you for paying your taxes. We need it to build The Wall. Fence! We need it to build the "fence".

Nancy said zero.
We got $1.6B

This year.

Mmm, tastes like Incrediberry!
A very complete observation.

Suckers.

Nope! Most of it from 2006 was mere fencing not walls. Some of it may have been improved over the years but we still have a long ways to go. Here educate yourself.

Fence, if it makes ya feel better.
And that's just this year.
Ah yes, we all remember fondly all of those rallies where Trump said, "What do we want??" And the sheep bleated back, "A fence!" LOL.

I will give you credit for remaining faithful in defeat. I would expect nothing less from a good cultist.

Meanwhile, the GOP really screwed their president over with this deal. Which I think is the best thing about it.

Lol, it’s amusing that you even think trumps own words are lies. He lies so much that you guys don’t even know which way is up. Damn, that’s pitiful.

A fence is better than a wall, anyway. People will tunnel under both but a fence is cheaper. Only a moron would want to spend that kind of money on an ineffective wall.

Trump people brag on the wall in Israel. When the Israelis built their wall the Palestinians stole sections of it for scrap metal and made weapons.

Nope! The good physical barriers aka walls have not been tunneled under nor scaled over successfully only the inferior fencing has. So I guess the Border Patrol are morons when they have stated that the good barriers are very effective? I've even posted links proving that they are but you know better, right?

So you've moved the goalposts? You originally insisted that Trump never said the wall was being built. Now that you've been confronted with direct evidence that Trump said the wall was being built, you've changed gears and are now arguing that it wasn't actually a wall.

In either scenario, Trump looks stupid for screwing up the details on his signature campaign promise, and you look bad for falsely accusing another poster of lying.

This is what they are building. Do you Loony Leftists not believe your God Accosted who went to the border and stood next to the steel slat barrier and said there were no illegals? Was he lying? If Cartoon News Network cameras had scanned the length of it would they have shown hordes catapaulting over?

In this particular negotiation, Trump wanted 64 miles and would be getting 55 for one section of the border designated as high risk now by border patrol. WeBuildTheWall group might very well build the remaining 9 miles which they could easily afford. And do it quicker for less money than the Feds! Learn more at the recent Town Hall in Tucson.

Besides, didn't Fancy Nancy say Trump would only get ONE DOLLAR from Dems?

Right! Why aren't the anti-wall people in here chastising her and the Dems for allocating over $1 billion for the wall with this latest new deal? They are such hypocrites!
