I'm just glad the federal government is no longer shut down (at least for 3 weeks, anyways) People can feel comfortable flying out of airports again. The air traffic control safety was in serious jeopardy for awhile. Also there is less stress on families that were not paid now. (Fwiw, I am not a federal employee). We can sort out who "won" politically later.
Pelosi didn't become Speaker a second time because of her looks and youth.
She won this round, but she's too smart not to know when she's going to have to give way on something else. This won't ever be a knockout. She'll win a round here and there and so will Trump.
The difference between them will add up on the side of experience over time and through many squabbles.
Trump is a lifelong racketeer and grifter and has a seasoned FBI investigator on his tail...Pelosi is not and does not. My money is on Pelosi as the last one standing.
