So what are your specific credentials in a field of science that provides you with added insight as to what constitutes real science vs junk science?

One does not need an advanced science degree to know how to differentiate between pseudoscience and science. Pst...there's no such thing as "real" science. Science just science.

I personally don't believe you hold a degree. Your posts are the dead giveaway.
I have 22+ years in the field of air quality and environmental science, including an advanced degree (only a Masters, but from one of the top 3 best graduate programs in the US if that helps), a couple dozen publications (not counting when I'm 5th author or something), multiple paper presentations (3 conferences last year including one at the NAS), some bench science (but to be honest more modeling and geospatial analysis experience).
According to you, I am insufficiently qualified to comment on climate trends.
However, my so-so education still prepared me well enough to avoid engaging in battle of wits with someone unarmed.
In all honesty, I respect for those who manage to misuse science to support their poor theories. It demonstrates an attempt to understand (maybe a generous assumption), even while it underlines the ignorance/arrogance that prohibits true comprehension.
More hysteria. Hey, captain science, carbon and carbon dioxide are not the same.
More dissembling.
Address the points in the post, admit you were wrong about that whole "pseudo-science" and "Obama regime" crap you are peddling or slap yourself some more ... you deserve it.
Hmm..... So your only defense is logical fallacy. i.e. "I know more than you because I said so".
And as a Southerner, we are always amused when a non-Southerner tries to use that term, and fails so badly at it.
You have never contributed one scientific shred of evidence to support your skepticism of climate change, because you have none. Just like another poster being discussed above.
If I've learned one thing on this forum, it's the most vocal critics of climate change are usually the least informed about the topic.
David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia predicted in 2000 that within a few years winter snowfall would become “a very rare and exciting event. Children just aren’t going to know what snow is....yup I have a lot of faith in these
supposedly expert climatogists...

You need to get your eyes checked. hawkeye indicated specific qualifications necessary to discuss the matter. I admitted that I'm not qualified. If anything, s/he is pulling the "I'm a surgeon" card.
And I'm in NC, so... try again.
