You want sad? Read up on Joe Kennedy, Sr. (although his antisemitism is pretty common knowledge, and I'm sure you're well aware). But I mention it as another example that Democrat does not always equal "good values" or "moral choices."
The Morse book sounds too depressing for me. I'll stick with the more recent one you mentioned - it will be bad enough.
The Morse book is far more compelling. For a middle ground I recommend Jay Winnik's 1944. FDR and the Jews was a flat-out apologia and an attempt to return to the hagiographies of old.

Recommendation taken. Thanks.
You're certainly well-read, but if you haven't already come across *Witness* (Whitaker Chambers, 1952), I'd highly recommend it. Fascinating tale by a Communist spy.

Having only recently learned to read and write I'm trying to make up for lost time. I first learned to read and write at 15 due to my peoples' tradition of illiteracy and lack of education.

Yes. Such a shame that Jews place so little emphasis on learning.
And is it Protocols? Alas, I've only heard talk of it and never actually opened it....hence my error.
Definitely. I saw something incongruous the other day; a car with an MD plate driving into a synagogue parking lot.

I read it; it's a Grade A fraud.[/quote]
I went to my parents' synagogue recently, and every single car had an MD plate! There must have been a hundred of them.
I did go the Jewish doctor in the New York metropolitan area recently.
Hah! Maybe we shouldn't joke. The reason for rising antisemitism in the Democrat Party is that Jews are, on average, better educated and more successful than other minorities. It disproves their theory about prejudice.
P.S. I could explain more, but I haven't had my coffee yet.

You assume for some reason I am joking. The Jewish illiteracy rate is about 1/3 among Reform and Conservative Jews in our area.
