Yes, he called it "rigged".

And

"The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy" - Donald Trump

And

""The Electoral College is much more advantageous for Democrats."

Well you’re an insulting inspiration aren’t you? It was a lot of barely literate people who fought for this country and made it into the haven of intellectual snobbery you enjoy so much.

I can see the country breaking up if we lose the EC. Before that, I would never say that.

Nope

It hasn't worked since the 19th century. Losers of the vote have been elevated to the WH on several occasions dating back to the post Civil War era. And it's happened with 2 of the last three presidents, who were selected, not elected.

It's been a dumb convoluted formula for 230 years.

Time to correct that mistake.

If enough people want it changed it can be changed legally.
Where were you that you didn't see that? Some gulag in Siberia?

He made no secret of his disdain for manipulated voting blocks. He was a yuuuuuge proponent of the "popular vote". But, that was of course, back when he was whining about how the deck was stacked against him.

How can changes so far reaching as this be passed without a ballot referendum? The same for some of the R ideas as well. Seems like a whim by a small group who just happen to be in the majority.

Whatever dude. The country is divided because the democrats WON'T ACCEPT THAT TRUMP BEAT HILLARY IN 2016.

Nevada should be free to cast their EC votes in whatever manner they choose.

If they choose to disenfranchise their voters, that's up to them.

They should call this the "California is in charge of our votes" bill.

Eventually the Supreme Court is going to have to step in here, otherwise you're correct -- the country will break apart.
SCOTUS can't step in. This entirely States rights.

At this point, that would probably be best.

It's time for a Constitutional Convention to amend so we can vote on a break up.
