They're not endangered. (At least not that type)
They're listed as vulnerable, which is due to habitat loss which brings them into contact with ranchers etc. that just shoot them and leave the body for vultures.
Hunting, which I am not a personal subscriber to, in that sense promotes land preservation which is what is critically needed to keep them (and every other species in the area) from sliding further.
I'm explaining this because I'd hate to see you take an irrational and even environmentally damaging stance on something, just because the Trumps did it. Doesn't make the Trumps right or good or anything...go about hating them all you like...but recognize what is happening in places like Africa outside of politics. Thanks.
