I only care what I think about Trump's tweets. And while I wish he'd shut the heck up 1/2 the time, what he said wasn't racist. He says crappy things about everyone - black, white, brown, straight, gay, right, left ... throw a punch his way and he'll punch back harder.
Yeah he’s gross and uncivilized like that. For someone who’s supposed to be “the best” at everything, and a self proclaimed educated person, he’s pretty low-end.

Does anyone here have any information on Fred Upton or Susan Brooks or the Districts they represent?

EDIT: According to Wikipedia, Upton is a moderate and a member of the “Tuesday Group” while Brooks is a lame duck.

It's instructive to look at what the President DID say... all of it, for a change.

On July 14, 2019, President Trump said in a series of tweets:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......
....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....
....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough.

Obviously, he wasn't kicking them out of the country, or even implying it, contrary to what the Dem fanatics are now frantically screaming.

He was saying that, if they wanted to tell the rest of us how to "fix" the United States' problems, they should first go to the corrupt, failing countries they favor, fix the far more severe problems there, and then come back to the US and tell us how they did it.

He was implying, obviously, that these congressmen couldn't tell a severe problem if it bit them, much less have any idea how to fix it. And he was suggesting that they get some experience in solving ACTUAL severe problems, before telling others how to do it.

The congressmen, of course, absolutely do not want to discuss any of that. So they are seizing on his mistake where he said "who originally came from countries...", as though that were the most important thing he said.

They clearly want to divert the discussion from the most important points: That they have little or no idea what they are talking about and merely want to run down the United States, while offering no solutions and being unwilling to even try. Instead, they keep screaming and whining that he wants to throw them out, wants to throw colored people out, etc. etc..... none of which he ever said or even implied.

But it beats talking about what he did say.... and the fact that they cannot reply to it.

It's a standard Democrat-fanatic technique to ignore most of what someone says, pick out an unimportant quibble, and concentrate all their attention and vitriol on that, trying to put people on the defensive over minor matters so they won't talk about the main points that are actually important.

And they are doing it more and more, as they continue to lose their voter base and Trump moves closer to re-election despite their loudest and most hysterical efforts.
do you understand irony or even english? First which of the squad "favors" a broken third world government? Second, that's not even what Trump said, LOL. He told them to go back to the countries they came from. The standard battlecry from every racist, who ever uttered those words. That's indisputable. Nevermind that all but one person were actually all born here. Trump is simply a very stupid man. Another indisputable fact.

You came in here to point fingers, but really, you should take that finger and direct it back at yourself. Quit creating these false narratives, based purely on extreme right wing talking points. Everyone who does this makes complete fools of themselves, like you did just right now.

The vast majority of republicans would feed their own children to Trump if they could, so there's definitely some other motive going on here.

If you're going to quote him, atleast be accurate. He also said "then come back and fix our problems"

What historical attempt does that fit into? Or are you just reading into what you want to read into because it fits your narrative and you're willing to say anything the hopes that DT loses the next election?

...I think it's pretty useless as a "veiled attempt at racism"...when you tell them to come back

Pretty much this. They are just spewing what they are being paid to spew. The very elite who run Hollywood, the media and all the social tech giants are in cohorts with eachother to control people's mind set on who they should be for and against. And sadly, we can see there are many sheep in this world.

These women were elected to fix problems HERE in the United States. He is asking them to go the other countries to fix their problems. This is not what they are paid for, and it would be a dereliction of duty to do this, even if it is a temporary thing.
Don't tell me that you haven't heard "Why don't you go back where you came from" used as a racist taunt. He is saying almost exactly that.
"You can't leave fast enough" is hardly an invitation to engage with him in solving problems together.

You can deny Trump's racism if you want, but everyone sees this and understands that this is why he is so attractive to his base.

What he's really saying (and understand that Trump doesn't choose his words very well) is that they should try out their radical solutions somewhere else before trying them here. The stakes are too high to be experimenting. Show that they work first.

But as usual, Dems are more concerned with mincing his words and attacking him for the way he said something rather than the substance of what he was intending to say.
