"On June 28, 2012, the day that the Supreme Court upheld most of the Affordable Care Act, the sighs of relief were so loud that they drowned out one part of the Court's decision that has come to haunt the lives of millions of poor people around the country, and that also has come to represent the fanatical refusal of Republican politicians, specifically Republican governors, to associate themselves with anything that had anything to do with President Barack Obama. In his opinion upholding the ACA, Roberts allowed individual governors to refuse to accept the Medicaid expansion in their states. In other words, just because it came from an Democratic president—and because it came from that Democratic president—these governors violated one of the fundamental tenets of state government that date back to the dawn of human greed: they refused FREE MONEY!"
The pro-life party when it comes to a fetus ~ NOT living human poor people.
Yes, many people choose to be poor based on their poor choices in life.
Yeah, I guess those who are wiped out by raging fires, lost everything even their towns, made this CHOICE...good lord. Or wiped out by a Katrina type hurricane...they chose that.

If they had the proper insurance, savings, and planning, then they would be well-positioned to overcome something like that. I've lost a home to a forest fire and I didn't have to go on Medicaid. What a stupid association.
The OP's insinuation, which started this thread was that if we don't expand government continually, peopel DIE!
This thread is not about people who lose their possessions to natural disasters, but about people who do not take care of themselves, and make poor life-choices believing that we, the taxpayer should take care of them.

They chose not to have insurance or otherwise protect against such contingencies. Maybe they wanted to use the premium money on prostitutes or drugs. Regardless of their reason, it isn't my job to fix everything that goes wrong in everyone's lives, nor is it the government's.
Well medicare is for those 65+. How are you too rich for it. Do you mean medicare part B?
I thought ACA plans were going to take care of everyone, make insurance coverage affordable?
I guess you don't know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid! Google it!

Is this a serious thread or sarcastic one?
“Free money”...of my increased premium, as liar Obama increased our premium, took my plan and lied about the $ 2500 savings families would get!
No, they choose to not educate themselves and do drugs and drink. Then they wonder why they are poor.
And, then play the victim card and expect everyone else to take care of them.
