This looks like it was one of them since it was mentioned in the article. First introduced in May.

No surprise there.

Likely the administration is currently working with Putin on 2020

And Senator Warner said this morning he would welcome any and all improvements to the bill. So Sen Hyde could make it more specific, if she wanted too.

It's already illegal so what were they trying to accomplish ?

The head of the Federal Election Commission sent out a timely warning to politicians on Thursday, reminding them that it’s illegal to accept information from a foreign national linked to an election in the U.S.
..
Weintraub’s warning was direct: “Let me make something 100% clear to the American public and anyone running for public office: It is illegal for any person to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with a U.S. election.

Here's a link to her statement that she posted on twitter:

This is partisan grandstanding. Foreign offers of assistance are not illegal, so why should campaigns be required to alert the FBI and FEC of anything. This is nothing more than an effort to make it seem like they are doing something when they are really doing nothing.

Why are you discussing something when you don't know the facts? We know you don't know the facts because you're asking why they are not released. lol This is too easy.

Did the GOP release a statement why they rejected the bill? Did I miss such a statement? If so, would you be so kind as to post it here?

Are you trying to agree with me by admitting there are facts you don't have and did make a conclusion without them ?
Its my conclusion after viewing and considering all the facts that you are !!!

The surprise is seeing you asking a question then giving the answer and apparently not be aware of it !!!

That is uncommon !!! Who could even debate that ?!?!?!
Any opponent that shows up wins by default or defect by announcing they are present !!!

Lol.

Ahhhh, good intentions with no clue as to the outcome.

Such a bill would result in tens of thousands of anonymous foreign requests that could essentially shut down campaigns and flood the FBI with nonsense work taking away from actual investigations.

Stupid bills meant as PR.
