Love it, and he's right. Baltimore is a national embarrassment.
Does he ever use these sorts of words when he bashes white people? It is rather...curious, as certainly he could try to use it against people like, say, De Blasio and Pelosi if he wanted.

Once again, the President is spot on, as many people across the spectrum know. The Democrats continue to put on some show, pretending that people like Cummings are somehow 'champions' and 'heroes' because they advocate for more poverty-entrenching programs.
I'm sure many of the people who live in Cummings' own district understand perfectly well what the President is saying here.
Back in the 60's 70s and 80's we from the hood would call people like cummings a poverty pimp!
Poverty Pimp - A welfare system procurer. Poverty pimps gain a higher quality of existence from exploiting the poverty of others.
Thats shameful to be a poverty pimp, living the good life while doing nothing for their constituents. Worse, attacking someone for trying to make a difference for the better in poverty areas.
In typical fashion, Democrats care more about "racism" than they do about actually improving the awful conditions Trump is talking about.
I pass through some of those areas and know a couple good people who have managed to get out. Dems are more interested going after Trump than working with Trump to help more people get out.

AND THOSE FOOLS CALLED HIM RACIST FOR THIS TOO??? There was no color in his statement! Cummings district is a hellhole of drugs and violence and those idiots keep reelecting him! Thus he has done NOTHING there!
About the same thing Obama, GWB and Clinton did. Nothing. It isn't the presidents job to micromanage cities. That would be the city, then the States job. Maryland's government has failed. The mayor of Baltimore has failed. The elected reps have failed. That would include Cummings.
How does an unimpressive low-I.Q. fool like that get into Congress? He can't even speak proper English.
The democrats are the party of hatred ("all white men are bad"). The party of collective guilt ("all whites owe everyone that doesn't look like them").
The democratic party deserves every bit of scorn that Trump tosses their way.
Trump's attack on individuals is hateful. Blame the Dems all you want, but he's being hateful. He's not being productive, positive, wanting to fix things.
